Leadership development in VIP happens on the ground through organizing in and across institutions and through formal trainings.
First, leaders receive mentorship from veteran leaders and organizers drawing on a 50-year tradition of organizing. As they act on the issues that matter to their families and institutions, they reflect together on their learning.
Secondly, formal trainings at the local and national level are offered in Spanish and English, sponsored by the West Southwest IAF network and led by experienced professional IAF organizers.
