Deacon Robin Hollis was a key leader at St. James Episcopal in Tempe and a Strategy Team Leader for a several years.
Many of us recall Deacon Robin’s energetic involvement in the Medicaid expansion effort in 2012 and 2013. Her relationships with Ahwatukee-area legislators were a key factor in setting the stage for a candidate accountability session where candidates from both parties participated, the only instance of bipartisanship in that election cycle and for years to follow.
Deacon Robin had a professional and personal passion for ensuring that people find work that allowed them to reach their greatest potential. She was a supporter of VIP’s workforce development initiative, Arizona Career Pathways, and served on its board for a time.
