I support VIP's Human Development Agenda and I will VOTE in 2026 to advance it.

VIP is building a powerful, nonpartisan voter base to advance shared priorities for the well-being of communities across Maricopa County around people, not party. Join us!

VIP Human Development Agenda:

  • Health Care – A growing number of Arizonans are struggling to pay for medical care, with many increasingly forced to choose between medical care and other basic necessities. VIP supports the improvement of access to the state’s AHCCCS program to protect the most vulnerable members of our population and the removal of onerous application requirements and processes.
  • Economic Opportunity – A strong Arizona depends on addressing the affordability crisis and creating a skilled workforce with access to living-wage jobs. VIP supports a comprehensive strategy that links mortgage and rental assistance to the opportunity for job training, such as Arizona Career Pathways, for underemployed adults.
  • Immigration – Communities are safer and stronger when immigrant families can participate without fear and access support when needed. VIP opposes legislation that  threatens to tear apart families and communities.
  • Housing and Homelessness – Arizona home prices have ballooned 500% over the past four decades. Purchasing a median-priced home in Metro Phoenix now requires a six-figure income. These increasingly unaffordable housing prices have led to a record number of evictions and a growing homelessness crisis. VIP supports legislation that promotes affordable housing and strengthens the safety net for those who have lost their housing.
  • Neighborhood Investment and Safety – Neighborhood investment, infrastructure, and safety vary widely by zip code in Maricopa County. VIP supports investment in critical traffic infrastructure, lighting, safety, and public resources (libraries, pools, parks, etc) to ensure a quality standard of life and community for all.

On Thursday, October 8th, VIP is bringing together over 500 Faith and Civic Leaders to put the everyday issues affecting our communities at the front and center of politics ahead of the Midterms and secure commitments from candidates and business leaders to work together to address them.
