In a display of relational power and solidarity in action, Valley Interfaith Project (VIP)’s Delegates Assembly united over 100 leaders representing diverse faith and community organizations across the Salt River Valley.

The action was held at Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Chandler, AZ and was co-chaired by Reverend Rock Fremont of Shepherd of the Hills UCC and Reverend Sarah C. Oglesby-Dunegan of Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation (in photo on the right).
Leaders shared stories and confronted the ongoing attacks on affordable health care, especially the threats to Medicaid that impact so many in our communities.
“Together, we committed to building the kind of organization that doesn’t just respond to crises, but is prepared to act on all fronts—because we know more challenges are coming,” said Rev. Fremont, whose church is a founding member of VIP. “I’m deeply grateful for the courage and clarity of our coalition as we work for dignity, justice, and the common good.”
