A new state investment of $2 million dollars will help 450 families take a step into economic security with the expansion of VIP’s workforce development initiative, Arizona Career Pathways.
VIP leaders worked with Rep. Mitzi Epstein to direct $2 million from Arizona’s federal Coronavirus relief funding to Arizona Career Pathways to expand the program in the wake of the pandemic. This investment will ensure that low-income families can access the education and training that will lift them into the middle class.
With a completion rate of 90%, a job placement rate of 85%, and an average starting wage of $24.50 per hour, Arizona Career Pathways is growing our middle class and giving our neighbors a pathway out of poverty.
